Who We Are
Founded in 2005 by Lindsay Geddes and Linda Parker, PAWS has raised the standards of animal health and care on Paxos. PAWS is now established as an institution on the island.
Since Linda retired in 2011, PAWS is currently run by its Director Lindsay Geddes as an unpaid volunteer from her home in Sussex, England.
Please be assured that PAWS charity is NOT and never has been run as a business. All monies raised are used to fund supplies, vet teams, winter feeding and improve education. Everyone who works for PAWS on Paxos and the UK is a volunteer. From never having any regular veterinary care on the island, Paxos residents now have the choice of 2 private clinics which opened in 2018 as well as the PAWS municipal clinic which opened in 2013.
PAWS will continue to improve animal welfare on Paxos for as long as possible so please get in touch to support us.
